A note to our customers affected by Hurricane Harvey
On behalf of the Avant team, we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey.
To help these communities and assist victims impacted by the ongoing flooding related to the storm, the Avant team will be offering a variety of programs in an effort to provide additional support.
From August 15, 2017 through September 30, 2017:
- All late fees will be waived for Avant customers impacted by Hurricane Harvey in the Houston metro area and surrounding affected counties.
- Loan payment modifications and payment date extensions may be made available to all customers in need who reside in the Houston metro area and surrounding affected counties.
- Avant is actively working with credit bureaus to ensure that customers will not be negatively impacted due to missed payments during this period.
- Our dedicated customer service team will be on hand to answer all questions and assist with these services to your account.
In addition, many of our employees have asked what we can do as a company to help the victims of the hurricane. Avant will be making a donation of $50,000 to The Red Cross to support victims of Hurricane Harvey and to assist with all clean-up efforts related to the devastation caused by the storm.
We have also setup an employee match program in which Avant will match up to $15,000 donated by our employees. We have encouraged our employees to donate to organizations that will benefit the communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey including Americares and Save the Children.
